Arrive in Negombo and start your Sri Lanka journey. Our tour starts in Negombo, a coastal town famous for fishing life, golden sands, lively fish markets, and traditional catamaran boats. Colombo is only a short distance away. Your tour leader meets the group in the evening for a welcome briefing and optional dinner. If you miss the meeting, key information will be shared when you join. If you arrive early, relax at the beach or enjoy the hotel pool overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Travel north for wildlife and culture in Sri Lanka's dry zone. Drive toward Wilpattu National Park, passing authentic fishing villages where traditional outrigger canoes are still used. Depending on season, you may spot toddy tappers collecting coconut sap. Wilpattu is known for biodiversity and natural lakes. Enjoy a jeep safari with chances to see leopard, elephant, sambar deer, and rich birdlife in a quieter setting than more crowded parks. After safari, continue to Anuradhapura for a two-night stay among Sri Lanka's ancient cultural landmarks.

Spend a full day discovering Sri Lanka's Buddhist heritage. In the morning, travel to sacred Mihintale, where monk Mahinda met King Devanampiyatissa and Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka. Continue to Udawalawe National Park for an afternoon jeep safari with chances to see elephants, deer, buffalo, jackals, and birdlife. Enjoy a flexible leisure day by the coast. Relax on Koggala Beach, swim, or choose a traditional Ayurvedic massage. Optionally revisit Galle for more time in the old fort and town. Seasonal option (Dec-Apr): whale watching with chances to spot blue and humpback whales.

Final beach morning before returning to the capital. Drive to Colombo (about two hours) and explore key highlights including Fort area, Pettah market, and Gangaramaya Temple. End the day at Galle Face Green with sea views and local evening atmosphere. A balanced final day blending relaxation and city culture.
