This page summarises the main points of travelling with Theavy Tours. It's a friendly overview, not a replacement for a full legal contract.
A booking is confirmed once we receive your written confirmation and deposit payment. Our standard deposit is 20% of the total tour price unless stated otherwise. By paying the deposit you confirm that you are authorised to make the booking on behalf of everyone in your party.
Final payment is normally due 30 days before your tour start date. If a booking is made within 30 days of travel, full payment may be required at the time of booking. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your trip.
If you need to cancel, fees generally increase as the departure date approaches. Our standard structure is based on days before departure (for example 60+, 30–59, 15–29, <15 days). Your personalised proposal and invoice will clearly state the exact cancellation terms that apply to your booking.
We'll always do our best to accommodate reasonable changes, but additional costs from hotels, airlines, or activity providers will be passed on to you. Change fees may apply for amendments close to departure.
In rare cases we may need to cancel or modify a tour due to events outside our control (for example extreme weather, political events, or safety concerns). If we cancel before departure, you'll normally be offered an alternative date or a refund of payments made to us for the land arrangements.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy covers medical care, cancellations, lost luggage, and any activities you plan to join.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport, visa, and any required travel documents. We're happy to share general guidance but can't take responsibility for denied boarding or entry caused by missing documents.
