Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), where your airport representative and licensed tourist guide meet you for the private transfer to Negombo. Settle into Camelot Beach Hotel and leave the rest of the day unhurried after your flight. Your guide confirms the route, practical timings and the plan for the following morning.

After breakfast, travel inland from the coast toward Habarana and Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. Pause at Umandawa Global Buddhist Village for its walking paths, gardens and quiet monastic setting. Continue to the included Dambulla Cave Temple visit, exploring the historic cave-temple complex and its Buddhist murals and statues. Arrive at Habarana Village by Cinnamon for a two-night stay among the plains of the Cultural Triangle.

Begin with the included village experience near Habarana, joining local hosts to prepare rice and vegetarian curries before sharing the included village meal. A simple alms-giving moment with a village monk may be observed if local timing allows. Later, see Sigiriya's ancient rock citadel rising above the surrounding plains. The Sigiriya entrance ticket and climb are optional and carry an additional cost.

Leave Habarana for Kandy, the sacred hill city and last capital of the Sinhala kings. Stop at a spice garden to learn how cinnamon, pepper, cardamom and other crops are grown and used. Check into Hotel Casamara with time to rest or take an independent walk nearby.

Visit the included Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, with your guide explaining the sacred setting and temple etiquette before entry. Continue east by private road transfer as the urban hills give way to quieter countryside. Arrive at Gal Oya Lake Club beside the remote reservoir landscape of Gal Oya National Park.

After breakfast, take the included Gal Oya boat safari across Senanayake Samudraya, passing islands, open water and shoreline habitat where wildlife may be seen. Later, join the included Veddha community experience, learning respectfully about forest knowledge, medicinal plants and the community's relationship with this landscape.

An early walk to Kiri Oruwa Lake can be considered if local conditions and timing allow. After breakfast, leave Gal Oya for Ella as the route climbs into Sri Lanka's cooler hill country. Visit an included tea plantation and factory to follow the process from fresh leaf through withering, rolling and drying, followed by a tea tasting.

Walk from Ella through forest and along the rail approach toward Nine Arches Bridge, with time for the stone viaduct and tea-country scenery. An Ella cooking class can be added as an optional experience, subject to availability and additional cost. Keep the rest of the day open for Ella's hill-country atmosphere and independent time near the hotel.

Descend from Ella toward Yala as tea-country slopes transition into the island's dry-zone landscape. The Elephant Transit Home entrance can be added as an optional stop near Udawalawe, subject to opening times and additional cost. Continue for the tour's one included private 4x4 safari in Yala National Park, with the safari jeep and park entrance ticket included. The drive explores Yala's varied dry-zone habitat; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

After breakfast, leave the Yala region and continue west toward the south coast. Arrive in Weligama for a slower coastal chapter, with time to settle into EKHO Weligama and enjoy the bay at your own pace.

Keep a full day free for the beach, pool or independent time along Weligama's coast. Your guide can help with practical local suggestions without turning the day into a fixed sightseeing schedule.

Follow the coast to Galle and enter its historic fortified city, shaped by Portuguese and Dutch periods of maritime trade. Walk the ramparts and lanes of Galle Fort with time for its architecture, sea views and lived-in streets before checking into Mango House.

Leave Galle for Colombo along the western coast. A Madu Ganga boat safari can be added as an optional experience, subject to availability, local conditions and additional cost. Continue to Colombo for a short orientation if timing allows, then check into Marino Beach Colombo for the final night.

After the included breakfast, take the private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your outbound flight. Extra nights in Colombo or on the coast can be arranged separately if you would like to extend the journey.
