Settle into Negombo and enjoy time to rest before your wildlife journey begins.
Travel to your Wilpattu-area base and settle in. A gentle local outing can be considered if arrival time and conditions allow.
Take the agreed jeep safari with a local operator when park access permits. We’ll agree your preferred safari duration and meal arrangements in your quotation.
Continue to the Cultural Triangle and settle into your hotel. Keep the day light after the road transfer.
Plan a safari in the suitable Minneriya, Kaudulla or alternative permitted viewing area based on current conditions. A morning cultural visit is optional, with enough rest before the drive.
Travel to Kandy, with a Dambulla stop if it suits your interests. The overnight breaks the route before the next day in the hills.
Make the road journey to Ella with breaks. Treat the journey as the main plan for the day, with limited stops and no required hike on arrival.
Choose a gentle tea-country outing, bridge-area walk or a restful hotel day. More demanding walks need an individual plan.
Descend to the Yala region and settle in. Keep the scheduled main safari for the following day.
Take the agreed safari when the selected area is open and operating. Wildlife moves freely, so no species or sighting is guaranteed.
Return to Negombo with planned breaks. This is a substantial road day; a Galle tour and Colombo city tour are not both added to the schedule.
Transfer to the airport for your flight. An additional coastal stay can be designed separately before the return journey.
Choose safari durations and the number of drives during planning. A photography-focused trip may need extra park nights, private guide arrangements and a different daily schedule.
