**Best Time to Visit** The ideal time to visit is early morning (6-8 AM) or late afternoon (4-6 PM) to avoid the heat. The climb can be challenging in midday sun. December to March offers the best weather with minimal rainfall.

**Climbing Tips** The Sigiriya climb involves 1,200 steps and takes 1.5-2 hours round trip. Take your time and rest at the viewing platforms. The steps can be steep and exposed to heights, so it's not recommended for those with severe vertigo.

**Photography** - Best light is during golden hour (sunrise/sunset) - Drone photography is prohibited - Respectful photography only at religious sites - The mirror wall frescoes are a must-capture moment
